Brian Winter and Andrew Brooks are not doctors or psychologists, but real people who consistently strive to achieve Maximum Balance in their own lives. They have read, listened to and participated in many of the leading personal achievement and self-help programs. It was their own experiences with, and without, these programs that led them to create a more easy-to-use and integrated program through Maximum Balance. Both have used, and continue to use, this program to achieve and maintain balanced success in their own lives.

Brian Winter
Brian is a seasoned executive and entrepreneur who has been involved in several successful information technology companies over the past 13 years. His successes include raising millions of dollars of capital to fund these businesses as well as delivering leadership and results in growing these successful ventures. Over the past 10 years, Brian has had the opportunity to meet a lot of people through business deals, speaking engagements and community events; including meeting and working with people throughout the United States, Europe and Asia. Meeting so many different people from around the world has given Brian significant insight into how people conduct their lives, the challenges they face and the strategies they employ to address them.
Brian resides in Knoxville, Tennessee with his wife of 5 years, Courtney, their two daughters, Riley and Hannah and their Weimaraner, Fitz. Brian is an avid runner and enjoys combining his running interests with traveling. Brian has had the opportunity to run at such global settings as the Great Wall, the Champs Elysee, Central Park, Buckingham Palace and the beaches of Hawaii, Bahamas and US Virgin Islands. Brian has completed marathons throughout the United States and is on track to reach his goal of running a marathon in all 50 states before he turns 50.
Brian has struggled himself to maintain balance over the years and even delayed, and nearly missed out on, the opportunity to marry his beautiful wife because of an imbalance between his career and relationships. But Brian quickly learned that just saying that he was going to get back into balance wasn't enough. Reading books about personal achievement and balance wasn't enough. Success required a program founded in focus and action. This program, and the success Brian has achieved as a result of this program, are the baselines and inspiration for developing Maximum Balance with Andrew Brooks.
Brian believes strongly that the traditional approaches to personal achievement books, CDs and seminars-are just pieces of a larger puzzle. Most people that pick up a book never make it past the first chapter. Most people that purchase a CD or tape series never complete the first CD or tape. And people that attend seminars frequently leave the session feeling that they are on top of the world, only to stagnate with lack of follow-up. Without question, these programs are valuable and essential, but Brian believes that the use of the Internet can greatly improve the effectiveness of personal achievement by simply providing frequent, results-driven communications that assist in taking action.

Andrew Brooks
Andrew is a proven business, technical and sales executive with experience building engineering and sales teams as well as consulting to Fortune 500 and start-up companies. His successes include building the second fastest growing technology startup in the Washington, DC area between 2001 and 2003 as well as defining and managing highly scalable sales operations models for high-growth companies. In his sales, management and partnering roles, Andrew has had the opportunity to establish relationships with a number of executives and employees across the country, at companies large and small. Through those relationships Andrew has obtained unique insights into what drives individual success and performance as well as the universal personal and professional challenges everyone faces in achieving their goals.
Andrew resides in Phoenix, Arizona with his wife, Erin, their son, Calvin, and their two dogs, Max and Becca. Andrew competes in local indoor and outdoor soccer leagues and like a good Arizonan can hack his way around the golf course. Andrew and his wife are in a constant search of the best ocean resort to enjoy snorkeling, scuba diving and general rest and relaxation. Any recommendations for top destinations are much appreciated!
For Andrew, life is a constant interplay between competing goals and objectives, and achieving balance requires steady diligence. Andrew's wife will attest to the fact that his work and career commitments often interfere with the priorities of relationships and family. Andrew's personal objectives, especially surrounding travel, have a significant impact on financial balance. And too often Andrew's charitable activities dissolve into the act of writing a check, versus a balanced contribution that includes time and expertise. Maximum Balance has emerged as Andrew's vehicle for translating his own challenges and successes, as well as those of his contacts across the country, into a framework we can all employ to achieve success in the critical Cornerstones of life - personal, relationships, career, finance and giving.
Maximum Balance translates all the data Andrew has collected from experience, books, conversations, seminars, and meditation into a simple, actionable and livable framework for life balance. Many personal achievement strategies involve setting individual goals or creating task lists, but Andrew does not believe this is the entire picture. No action will be successful unless it is embraced within a structure and approach that respects the complexities, interactions and competing demands we all face across the different Cornerstones of life. Maximum Balance provides that structure and will provide those who embrace it with success and happiness, the recipe for a truly balanced life.
